PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that when an ink is stuck and dried on a nozzle face, meniscus holding power becomes weaker on the dried ink than a water repellent layer to easily generate poor delivering. SOLUTION: When an overflow driving signal P6 is loaded, as a meniscus position is pulled into a nozzle 104 by a standing-down wave shape element of the overflow driving signal P6 and the inside of a liquid room 106 is pressurized by a standing-up wave shape element, it is forwarded across an initial position, but a driving voltage is large, and the meniscus 100a of the ink 100 in the nozzle 104 becomes to a condition that it overflows on the circumference 104a of a nozzle opening, and it joins with an adherent 500 of the ink stuck on the circumference 104a of the nozzle opening. When a printing driving signal or the overflow driving signal P6 stands down in the next driving period, and when the meniscus 100a is returned, the ink atuck on the circumference 104a of the nozzle opening is pulled into the nozzle 104.
