PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing means for reliably fixing end parts of winding start and winding finish of a cleaning body comprising a rotary cleaning body which has a core rod wound by a napped cloth and the core rod. SOLUTION: The fixing member 10 has an insertion hole 10a for inserting the core rod therethrough, a cap part 10b for covering an outer periphery of the end parts of the cleaning body 1, and a window part 10c integrally joining the insertion hole 10a, and four engaging pieces 10d are formed by the window part 10c integrally joining the insertion hole 10a. The end parts of winding start and winding finish of the cleaning body 1 are covered with and fixed by the cap part 10b of the fixing member 10 thus composed, so that the end parts of the cleaning body 1 is prevented from peeling off from the core rod.
