PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sequin feeding method and an apparatus which can feed out many kinds of sequins by a simple adjustment without requiring parts exchange. SOLUTION: This sequin feeding apparatus 1 is equipped with a feeding mechanism 24, a fastening mechanism 53, two guides 49 and 50, and an adjusting mechanism 54. In this case, the feeding mechanism 24 feeds a sequin tape T on which sequins S are serially connected to the sewing position P of a sewing machine along a reference line L. The fastening mechanism 53 fastens the sewing hole H of the sequin S on the reference line L on the upstream side of the feeding mechanism 24. The two guides 49 and 50 guide the tape T in parallel with the reference line L on both of the right and left sides of the reference line L. The adjusting mechanism 54 individually adjusts the guides 49 and 50 in the width direction of the tape T. The feeding mechanism 24 is equipped with top and bottom two belts 22 which pinch the tape T, and a stepping motor 39 which rotates the belts 22. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
