PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing hydrogen by using microorganisms equipped with a capacity of producing the hydrogen from acetic acid without using light energy, and the microorganisms equipped with such the capacity. SOLUTION: This method for producing the hydrogen by a fermentation method is provided by using the microorganisms equipped with the capacity of producing the hydrogen from the acetic acid without using the light energy, and the microorganisms equipped with the capacity of producing the hydrogen from the acetic acid without using the light energy is also provided.
