摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium which reduces thermal loading. <P>SOLUTION: The optical information recording medium 10 has a base plate 11 on which pits are formed, and a super resolution layer 12 whose optical characteristics change with the temperature rise. An optical head for the wave length &lambda; and an objective lens having a numerical aperture NA is used when reproducing an optical information recording medium. &lambda;/(10n)<D<&lambda;/(6n) is satisfied when the refractive index of the base plate 11 is n and the pit depth is D.
