<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display excellent in display quality that can be manufactured highly efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display comprises a liquid crystal cell, and polarizing plates disposed on both sides of the liquid crystal cell and made up of polarizers and polarizing plate protection films disposed on both sides of the polarizer.
