PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable communication terminal capable of preventing the execution of calling processing/call end processing unintended by a user when an open call/closed call end function is set using one opening closing sensor. SOLUTION: Cases C1 and C2 are each formed like a plate. A sliding mechanism SL1 slidably coupling the case C1 to the case C2. The opening closing sensor 24 is built in the case C2. A CPU (22) judges opening/closing when the output of the opening closing sensor 24 changes from an opening state to a closed state. Further, in setting the open call/closed call end function, the CPU (22) judges opening/closing during call arriving and executes wait processing of 500 msec. Then, the CPU (22) reads the output of the opening/closing sensor 24 after the wait processing, and when a result of opening/closing judgement matches the output of the opening closing sensor 24 after the wait processing, the CPU (22) employs the result of opening/closing judgement. This terminal can prevent the execution of calling processing/call end processing unintended by a user when an open call/closed call end function is set using one opening closing sensor.
