PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which prevents vacuum deterioration due to contact of an interlayer dielectric and a sealing member, and has excellent display characteristics with a long life. SOLUTION: The image display device has an interlayer dielectric 14 and an insulating film 15 interposed between an image signal wiring 8 and a scanning signal wiring 9. The film terminal 141 of the interlayer dielectric 14 is arranged separated from a sealing member 5, and the upper face including this film terminal 141 is covered with the insulating film 15, and the interlayer dielectric 14 and the sealing member 5 are not in contact with each other.
