PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an art for obtaining a good recording/reproducing characteristic of a hologram recording/reproducing apparatus by changing the incident-direction between reference and reproducing light beams. SOLUTION: In the hologram recording/reproducing apparatus 1, a controller 100 specifies as a first predetermined range a region where the reference-beam region of a spatial light modulator 19 is formed according to the temperature of a hologram recording medium 48 for recording a hologram, and the controller 100 specifies as a second predetermined range a region where the reproducing-beam region of the spatial light modulator 19 is formed according to the temperature of the hologram recording medium 48 for reproducing recorded data.
