PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking lot management system making an effective use of parking spaces. SOLUTION: The parking lot management system comprises an availability detection means for detecting the availability of a plurality of parking spaces including parking spaces for specific drivers, and a guidance means for providing guidance on the use of the parking spaces. The guidance means guides general drivers of vehicles waiting for parking to the parking spaces for specific drivers when the availability detection means detects that there are a first predetermined number or more of available parking spaces for specific drivers, and guides the general drivers of vehicles parked in the parking spaces for specific drivers to move out of the parking spaces for specific drivers when the availability detection means detects that the number of available parking spaces for specific drivers is less than a second predetermined number.
