PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lens extension device having a mechanism to thin in product shape and switch a photographing mode between an ordinary photography position and hyperfocal photography position, and macrophotography position in a camera incorporated into a cellular phone. SOLUTION: In an elastic body 28 interposed between an advancing ring 15 and a cover 20, the rising portion 31 of the elastic body 28 is pressed downward to be bent by the cover 20, whereby the contact portion 17 of the advancing ring 15 is pressed against the first, second and third cam surfaces 4A, 4B and 4C of a holder 1 by elastic recovering force. When the advancing ring 15 is rotated, engagement of the contact portion 17 with the first, second and third surfaces 4A, 4B and 4C is switched to obtain a focus in the ordinary photography position on the first cam surface 4A, a focus in the hyperfocal photography position on the second cam surface 4B that is middle in height, and a focus in the macrophotography position on the highest third cam surface 4C.
