PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying and processing apparatus suitable for automatically executing a variety of processes such as printing and sticking a label on a sheet-shaped work piece (including a carton and the like folded into a sheet shape) on a conveyance route. SOLUTION: In the conveying and processing apparatus comprising a carton feeding means 3 transferring a carton K onto a conveyance route 1, a conveyor 47 conveying the transferred carton along the conveyance route 1, and a processing means (laser marker 6 and the like) executing a prescribed process against the carton which reached a prescribed position on the conveyance route 1, the conveyor 47 comprises a flat belt 47a for a conveyor comprising ventilating small holes penetrating through front and rear faces and an air intake chamber 53 disposed on the rear face side of the flat belt 47a on the conveyance route 1, and to convey the carton K on the conveyance route 1 in a state attracted to the surface of the flat belt 47a.
