PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for a vehicle allowing improvement of convenience and safety of a vehicle user and reliability. SOLUTION: This seat is provided with an inverting mechanism 110 for moving a seat cushion 100, a rotating mechanism 410 for rotating a seat back 400, a cushion lock 210 for preventing moving of the seat cushion 100, a back lock 510 for preventing rotation of the seat back 400, a cushion operation strap 310 for releasing the lock of the cushion lock 210, a back operation lever 610 for releasing the lock of the back lock 510, a relay unit 810 for adjusting timing for releasing the lock of the cushion lock 210 and timing for releasing the lock of the back lock 510, and a remote control lever 710 for operating the relay unit 810.
