A to-be-measured object scanning method in a contactless 3D shape measurement apparatus is provided to perform precise scanning on the to-be-measured object while controlling a moving speed of a gantry robot having a multi-laser vision system to achieve efficient scanning. A to-be-measured object scanning method in a contactless 3D shape measurement apparatus includes a step(S402) of moving a gantry robot to a scanning start point when a 3D shape measurement command for a to-be-measured object is inputted, a step(S404) of scanning the to-be-measured object while moving the gantry robot at a relatively high speed for a first region from the scanning start point to a point at which the object is detected, and a step of performing 3D scanning on the to-be-measured object while moving the gantry robot at a relatively low speed for a second region in which the to-be-measured object exists.
