<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for improving CPC (continuous packet connectivity) function in a radio communications system. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes a step for receiving a re-setting message, a step of determining a value of a second IE (information element), which is contained in a first IE, if the first IE is included in the re-setting message, and a step, in which UE (user terminal) uses the contents of the first IE without storing the contents if the contents of the second IE are new timing. The first IE are used in order to show timing information of the operation of a discontinuous transmission and discontinuous reception (DTX-DRX), and the second IE is used in order to select the timing of the DTX-DRX operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
