<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly adjust the temperature of a particulate filter during the regeneration of the filter when an exhaust emission control device has a NOx catalyst and the filter. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine comprises a first exhaust emission control device 30 for eliminating NOx, second exhaust emission control devices 41, 42 each having a filter 41 installed on the downstream side more than the first exhaust emission control device 30, a bypass passage 6 for bypassing the first exhaust emission control device 30, a control means 10 for controlling the amount of the exhaust gas flowing through the bypass passage 6, a reducer supply means 5 for supplying a reducer from the upstream side of the bypass passage 6, and a downstream side temperature detection means 11 for detecting the temperature of at least a part of the filter 41. During the regeneration of the filter 41, the reducer is supplied. In this case, when the temperature of the part of the filter 41 is equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature, the amount of the exhaust gas flowing through the bypass passage 6 is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
