PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further appropriately control exposure in imaging an image on the side of an own vehicle. SOLUTION: A motor vehicle 1 calculates a time until a surrounding vehicle on the side of the own vehicle detected by a radar enters into an imaging range of an imaging part 10 imaging the side of the own vehicle. The motor vehicle executes exposure control by using the whole imaging range as a reference until the surrounding vehicle enters into the imaging range, and executes exposure control, immediately before the surrounding vehicle enters into the imaging range, by using, as a reference, an end on a side of the imaging range into which the surrounding vehicle enters. Thereby, when the image on the side of the own vehicle is imaged, exposure control can be prevented from being disturbed by the surrounding vehicle as an obstacle.
