摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absolute position measuring device capable of easily intending miniaturization, capable of reducing the manufacturing burden, and capable of measuring the absolute position of a spindle. SOLUTION: The absolute position measuring device includes a first rotary encoder for detecting as a phase signal which changes the rotation amount of the spindle 3 with a first cycle, and a second rotary encoder for detecting the rotation amount of the spindle 3 as the phase signal varying with a second cycle as phase signal changing with the second cycle. Rotation of a first rotor 42 of the first rotary encoder is transferred to a second rotor 51 by using a first gear 48 formed on the outer periphery of the first rotating cylinder 43 and a relay gear 53 formed on the outer periphery of a second rotating cylinder 52, and engaged with the second gear 55. Therefore, the absolute position of the spindle can be calculated on the basis of the phase signals of the two different cycles. Moreover, the spiral key groove is not necessary as before, so the miniaturization can be easily attained, and also the burden on the manufacturing can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
