PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tip top of a spinning rod, which is lightweight, has an excellent stiffness capable of corresponding to large deflection, can smoothly be bent from a tip side to a base end through a joined portion, and is good in sensitivity. SOLUTION: In the tip section of the spinning rod related to one embodiment form of the present invention, the tip end side portion 40A of a fiber-reinforced resin layer 40 is disposed in a state projected from the tip end of a cylinder 16 in the peripheral region of the joint portion 20. In addition, the breaking elongation of the fiber-reinforced resin layer 40 is larger than that of the fiber-reinforced resin layer 40, and the breaking elongation of a superelastic material for forming a core material 15 is larger than that of the fiber-reinforced resin layer 40.
