A yellow soil feed, and a method for preparing the yellow soil feed are provided to improve the immunity of domestic animals and to enhance the appetite, thereby promoting the growth of domestic animals. A yellow soil fodder comprises 60-80 vol% of yellow soil; and 20-40 vol% of an extract (crude protein, carbohydrate, crude fiber, vegetable ash, vegetable oil, tannin, flavonoid, moisture) extracted from a natural plant. Preferably the extract comprises 2.8 wt% of crude protein, 30 wt% of carbohydrate, 14.7 wt% of crude fiber, 1.4 wt% of vegetable ash, 5.4 wt% of vegetable oil, 15 wt% of tannin, 15 wt% of flavonoid, and moisture.
