PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel seat with little carrying heavy feeling and little disturbance of weight balance by making a simple change in a holding mechanism for holding a reel leg of a movable hood. SOLUTION: Introduction parts 10d are formed from the inlet side toward the interior side on the sidewall surface of an inner space and holding slope parts 10a are formed on the further interior side of the introduction parts 10d. Furthermore, the introduction parts 10d and the holding slope parts 10a are tilted so that the intervals from the holding slope parts 10a formed on the wall surface on the opposite side are shorter toward the interior side.
