An upright-type vacuum cleaner is provided to minimize noise and to prevent suction force degrading and a connection part between a duct of the cleaner body and a brush duct of a suction nozzle being blocked. An upright-type vacuum cleaner comprises a cleaner body(10) including a main body duct, a suction nozzle(50) installed in the lower part of the cleaner body to rotate, including a brush duct(53) and a connection duct(40) connected to the main body duct to rotate when the cleaner body rotates around the suction nozzle. The connection duct includes a first concatenated pipe(41) connected to the main body duct and a second connection pipe(42) connected to the brush duct and a rotating unit(43) connecting the first connection pipe and a second connection pipe to rotate.
