A regional POI information service offering system and a method thereof based on UCC are provided to classify selected location tags and regional POI information received from a user terminal linked with a GPS or an LBS server, according to each region and each category, and to collect/manage the classified information, thereby realizing collective intelligence. A location tag recommending system(120) receives current location information(X and Y coordinates) of a user terminal when UCC are made. The location tag recommending system provides a location tag candidate group for the current location information of the user terminal, to the user terminal. A regional POI information classification system receives selected location tags and regional POI information based on the UCC from the user terminal, and classifies/manages the collected regional POI information by location and by category. |
