A method and a device for transferring a prepaid call charge to other users by using a mobile terminal are provided to facilitate purchase and use of a prepaid phone card by enabling a user to buy, recharge, and present the prepaid phone card with the mobile terminal connected to the mobile network. A first prepaid call charge payment request is received from a first terminal. The payment request is processed and a first prepaid call charge is stored by linking with ID information of the first terminal. A request for transferring a second prepaid call charge to a second terminal is received from the first terminal. The first prepaid call charge is compared with the second prepaid call charge. The second prepaid call charge is offset from the first prepaid call charge when the first prepaid call charge is bigger than the second prepaid call charge. The second prepaid call charge is stored by linking with the ID information of the second terminal.
