A magnet detecting apparatus using a solar-cell is provided to produce electricity by outside sunlight instead of commercial alternating current and charge a battery by using the electricity in order to be not affected by discharge durability of the battery. A magnet detecting apparatus comprises a sensor sensing external invasion through moving detection of a magnet arranged in a security subject area and transmits the detection result of the sensor to a security receiver. A solar-cell produces the electricity with sunlight. A rechargeable battery(105) is included. The battery is charged with the electricity generated with the solar-cell. A control logic determines daytime and nighttime according to the size of the voltage output in the solar-cell(101). The control logic charges the battery by forming current path between the battery and the solar-cell during a daytime and use the battery as drive power by forming current path with the battery during a nighttime. |
