The subject matter of the invention is a reactor, driven about its fixed, preferably vertical, axis in an oscillatory/rotating manner, for preferably biotechnological and pharmaceutical applications. With its process-intensifying properties for mixing, suspending, gas transport, heat transfer, irradiation and particle retention, the applicability is ensured on a commercial scale. The reactor, which does not need a shaft seal, permits especially robust production with respect to sterile requirements while dispensing with cleaning and cleaning validation if the reactor is designed as a one-way reactor. |
