Method and system for making data available through a web portal

The method involves producing a mapping between a telephone number and access data for access to a portal server (14). A communication link from a terminal (12) to inside of an Internet protocol (IP)-network is produced using the telephone number by an access server (16) connected with the portal server. User data transferred based on the communication link to the access server is transmitted from the access server to the portal server using the access data mapped to the telephone number. An independent claim is also included for a system for accessing user data.
