PURPOSE: A wireless transmission unit for an ultra wire band is provided to perform a data transmission process and a data reception process without using a power transmission line and reduce the power consumption by forming a transmission line with an antenna and a pulse generator. CONSTITUTION: A wireless transmission unit for an ultra wire band includes a transmission line. The transmission line is formed with a pulse generator and an antenna. A pulse forming network circuit is used as the pulse generator. The pulse forming network circuit is used for generating pulses proportional to the electrical length of the antenna by charging electric charges to the antenna and discharging the electric charges as a load resistance such as characteristic impedance of the antenna. The antenna is formed with a patch antenna using a ceramic material. |
