<p>The method for the production of wood pellets from wood chips, comprises classifying (103) the wood chips, sorting out (104) of cortex parts on the basis of an optical detection, crushing (105), conditioning (106) and then pelletizing (107). The sorted cortex parts are burned and the emerging heat is used for drying the wood chips. The drying (102) is carried out before the classification. The separated parts are burned jointly with the cortex during the classification. An independent claim is included for a device for the production of wood pellets from wood chips.</p> |
