<p>The device has a valve needle (12) controlling the opening of an injection opening by longitudinal movement. Control chambers (16, 35) exert pressure indirectly on the valve needle and stay in connection with a high pressure canal by an inlet (38). A latency piston (40) is arranged in the inlet such that the piston moves into the control chamber (35) when the pressure in the control chamber (35) is decreased to reduce the volume of the control chamber (35). The piston with an inlet canal (44) moves against the spring force of a latency spring (42) in the control chamber.</p> |
