An apparatus for reforming fuel is provided to prevent flash-back phenomenon generated in a heat source part and to ensure excellent lifetime by injecting exhaust gas ejected from a heat source part into the heat source again. An apparatus for reforming fuel(30) comprises (a) a reforming reaction part(32) and (b) a heat source part(31) which provides the heat energy and generates the heat energy by the catalyst oxidation reaction. The heat source part includes an inlet tube(33) flowed with an oxidation reactant; an exhaust line(34) ejecting the exhaust gas generated with the catalyst oxidation reaction; and an exhaust gas return duct(35) inflowing the exhaust gas to the inlet tube by connecting the exhaust line and inlet tube.
