PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of speeding up imaging processing in a plurality of photographing sequences and transferring picked-up data of high quality. SOLUTION: When a control part 22 in a camera receives photographing condition setting signals 101, 101 from an external controller 10, the control part 22 writes the photographing condition setting signals 101, 101 in a condition setting main memory 23 in order of photographing sequences 1, 2. The control part 22 reads the photographing condition setting signal 101 of the first written photographing sequence 1 from the condition setting main memory 23 after finishing the writing processing, sets a photographing condition and waits for an exposure start of the photographing sequence 1. In addition, the control part 22 sets (switches) the photographing condition of the next photographing sequence 2 following the photographing condition setting signal 101 within the photographing sequence 1 on the basis of the photographing condition setting signal 101 read from the condition setting main memory 23 in accordance with the transfer end of the picked-up data 104, and waits for an exposure start of the photographing sequence 2.
