MUTANT OF PROPIONYL-COA TRANSFERASE FROM CLOSTRIDIUM PROPIONICUM AND PREPARING METHOD FOR PLA OR PLA COPOLYMER USING THE SAME

A mutant of propionyl-CoA transferase derived from Clostridium propionicum is provided to improve the production yield of lactate polymer or lactate copolymer by increasing the expression of lactyl-CoA in Escherichia coli. The mutant of propionyl-CoA transferase derived from Clostridium propionicum as lactyl-CoA supplying enzyme has the mutated nucleotide sequence in which T78C, T669C, A1125G and T1158C are shifted in the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:3. The PLA(polylactate) or PLA copolymer is prepared by culturing the mutant of propionyl-CoA transferase derived from Clostridium propionicum.
