A method for preparing the salted mackerel is provided to improve the safety of sanitary and to enhance taste by using deep sea water. A method for preparing the salted mackerel comprises the steps of concentrating deep sea water to a specific gravity of 26-32 Be to obtain salt, and mixing the salt with 1-8 wt% of at least one nonreducing sugar such as raffinose, trehalose, sucrose, etc.; and preparing the salted mackerel with the prepared salt by common method. |
