<p>The apparatus has an optoelectronic sensor (10) e.g. line scan sensor, that is provided for detection of object geometry in a section of an object (14) with reference to intervals and/or of a remission behavior. A geometry detection control (20) calculates geometrical data e.g. location, of the object from the object geometry of the section, and outputs via an interface. The control adapts information density of output geometrical data to a measure for changes of the object geometry from the section to another section. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for dynamic generation and transmission of geometrical data of objects moved on a conveying device (2) a method for reading codes of objects moved on a conveying device (3) a method for automatic machining of objects moved on a conveying device (4) an apparatus for automatic machining of objects moved on a conveying device.</p> |
