An ACR apparatus for a cellular phone having a power saving function is provided to prevent the unnecessary power consumption by making the communication between the cellular phone and ACR apparatus possible only when using the special category telecommunacations service. A connector(110) is connected to an interface unit(22) of a cellular phone(20) through a data connection port(21), when it is connected to the data connection port of the cellular phone. An interface part communicates with the interface unit of the cellular phone, when the connector is connected with the data connection port of the cellular phone. The value of a key pressed on the cellular phone is received. In case the user calls the other party, a controller stores the calling phone number in an RAM(160), and then provides connection information stored in an ROM(150) to the cellular phone. |
