A floating breakwater using waste tires is provided to decrease the burden of an anchor facing an impact directly and to secure the stable location of a floating breakwater accordingly by transferring the impact by waves to an anchor through a wire belt with a floating breakwater whose movement by waves is restricted by impounding in a wire belt. A floating breakwater is formed by forming a wire rope belt(D), having the similar size to the planned width and length of a floating breakwater and floating on the water, at the fixed location on the surface of the water, connecting the belt to an anchor(9) using a wire(5) and fixing the position to impound the floating breakwater in the belt, and forming tire buoy banks(E) in the wire rope belt at regular intervals to remove the appointed number of partitions and fastening a tire pillar assembly(C) to each partition to be impounded. |
