<p>The system has two radio transmitters (S1, S2) for radiating two identification signals (ID1, ID2) on two sides (L1, L2) of a passage (G) between two rooms (1, 2), respectively. A receiver unit (R) is carried along by a movable object (O) e.g. caregiver, for receiving the two identification signals that are radiated by the radio transmitters. The receiver unit has an evaluation unit for detecting places, at which the movable object are held, based on the sequence of the received identification signals. An independent claim is also included for a method for detecting the presence of a free object in a multiple-room building.</p> |
