A radio frequency identification reader is provided to separate a signal used as tag energy among signals transmitted between the reader and a tag, thereby smoothly providing tag energy. A controller(160) comprises a signal processing unit and a signal separating unit(164). The signal processing unit(162) processes a signal according timing standards. The signal separating unit separates and transmits partial frequency signals of a tag signal interval and frequency signal of a reader signal interval among the processed signal. The first mixer(196) generates an energy signal by using the separated partial frequency signal. The second mixer(192) generates a data signal by using a frequency signal of the separated reader signal interval. The first oscillation circuit(204) provides the first frequency signal to the first mixer. The second oscillator circuit(202) provides the secondary frequency signal to the second mixer. |
