The safety device comprises a safety element (9) that is arranged on a sleeping couch (1). The safety element is provided with a contact area. The contact area of the safety element is placed opposite to a bed-frame contact area of a bed frame (2) of the sleeping couch in a laminar contact connection. The safety element is supported by the laminar contact connection on the bed-frame with a force application. The safety element and the bed frame are made of light metal or plastic.
