A support for supporting a wall unit against a wall during attachment of the unit to the wall is described. The support comprises a base portion <B>101</B> and a top portion <B>102</B> for supporting a wall unit. The base portion <B>101</B> and the top portion <B>102</B> are connected by at least one leg member <B>103</B>, <B>104</B>. The or each leg member <B>103</B>, <B>104</B> comprises first <B>103a</B>, <B>104a</B> and second <B>103b</B>, <B>104b</B> support members which can be lockably reconfigured to extend or retract the leg member <B>103</B>, <B>104</B> to orientate the unit against the wall. The top portion <B>102</B> may include level indicating means <B>108a</B>, <B>108b</B>. One of the support members may include a measurement scale <B>107</B>. A brace member may extend between the supports. |
