The invention relates to a grip 1 for attachment or integration to a manually-turnable wheel 2 for assisting rotation thereof, comprising a body 3 adapted for receiving a periphery of the wheel 2 and having means 4 adapted to accommodate supports 8 of the wheel. The grip may be manufactured from a deformable material such as rubber. The grip may be provided as a laminate of at least two layers, the inner layer being of a harder material than the outer layer. The grip may be provided with a substantially U shaped cross section whereby the U shape defines an internal cavity of the grip. The grip may be provided with additional seating means for receiving the support of a wheel. The invention further relates to a wheel chair with said wheel. |
