The controller has a control unit (1) provided with cross-wisely arranged front and rear buttons or switches and lateral buttons or switches for controlling motors, respectively. One of the motors laterally pivots a surgical microscope (5) and the other motor moves the microscope in a forward and rearward manner in a direction perpendicular to an observation direction. The control unit is attached to an operating theatre suction device (4). The control unit has a protective layer e.g. plastic foil, for covering the buttons or the switches. |
