A steering wheel and airbag assembly 10 is disclosed in which an airbag module 11 forming part of the steering wheel and airbag assembly 10 is pivotally connected to an armature 14 of a steering wheel 13 so as to permit the airbag module 11 to pivot about more than one axis. A single pivot means 30, 31 is used to pivotally connect the airbag module 11 to the steering wheel 13 so as to permit the airbag module 11 to pivot relative to the steering wheel 13 and actuate a single horn switch 51 located diametrically opposite the single hinge means 30, 31. |
