A recloseable storage bag (20) is disclosed which may include first and seco nd sides (22, 24) having closed sides and an open top (32). Primary closure members (42a, 42b) may be provided proximate the top (32), with a secondary closure element (52) being provided in one of the sides (22, 24) to enable g as to be evacuated from the bag (20) after the primary closure members (42a, 42 b) are closed. The secondary closure element (52) may be user-deformable, and recloseable after the gas is evacuated.
