A hinge comprises two generally cup-shaped casings 5, 6, stamped out of metal and connected by a pivot pin 7, each easing having a securing rod 3, 4, which may be screw-threaded. The pin 7 may be made of metal or of a plastic such as a polyamide, and can be clamped in one of the casings. Plastic liners may be inserted in the casings, and one of the liners may be integral with the pivot pin. In a modified construction the hinge consists of a central male portion and two female portions disposed one on either side of it. |
