A face image display for displaying an image showing the face of a person as a moving image in which the face is emphasized. A face region detecting section (21) detects the face regions showing the faces of persons from an object image showing the faces. A dynamic extraction region creating section (22) creates a dynamic extraction region at least either the position or area of which is varied with time in the object image according to the detected face regions. A moving image output section (27) extracts images in the dynamic extraction region sequentially and outputs them as a moving image.
