The vehicle (1) has a chassis (3) equipped with wheels (4), and a locking mechanism with two stop elements that are installed at both sides of a recording site (12). The chassis has a container (6) or receptacle, where the container with a longitudinal axis essentially coincides with a longitudinal axis of the vehicle. Tubes are connected to drive spindle equivalent bodies, and longitudinal beams are provided between rollers and the stop elements. An independent claim is also included for a method for transporting a roller of a vehicle.
