A hair-braiding device to braid a mass of hair into true three-stranded brai ds comprising a casing, motor, coordination wheel, two braiding wheels which turn in opposit e directions never simultaneously, locking gears, and a push-button driven system to allo w for the automatic partitioning of a mass of hair into three strands for automated braiding.
