A module recognition method and a module recognition apparatus for reducing a cost and easily implementing the module are provided to select a communication method according to the convenience of a user. A module recognition apparatus(100) comprises a disparate communications module(120) and a bluetooth module(110). The blue tooth, zigbee, UWB(Ultra Wire Band), an RF communications method are applied to communication module. The bluetooth module(210) of entity is recognized clearly through the module recognition apparatus. The presence of the disparate communications module(220) of entity is recognized clearly through the disparate communications module.
